So it’s that time again when I start thinking of my new years resolutions! After giving it much consideration here is a list of things I want to change in 2012.
1) the first thing I want to do is read more books! Santa brought me an IPad, and yesterday I loaded it with a ton of awesome books that I cannot wait to read. Of course it’s cold and snowy here so for now I’ll have to settle for my office chair to read and wait a few months before I can read on the beach.
2) I always make time for family, but I really need to make more time for friends. Once a week I want to get out and have coffee, or go to a movie with a friend. Friends are an important part of our lives and we can never forget that!
3) Hit the gym! I think this is on everyone’s list! I do work out daily on my exercise bike, but for Christmas we all got a memberships to the gym. I think if I can get out in the evening and pump some iron, instead of becoming a coach potato it will help me lost those few extra pounds that have found there way onto my hips.
4) Chose healthier meals! My son gave me LOONEYSPOONS cookbook for Christmas and it’s loaded with tons of great cooking advice recipes. I’ve decided to start using this book on a daily basis!
